4th edition of the eXpert GAME
Thursday 28 March saw the 4th edition of the eXpert GAME, the Géomètres-Experts Business Game, with TERIA, Géofoncier and Publitopex, subsidiaries of the Ordre des Géomètres-Experts.
Here’s a look back at this great day of competition!
An edition linked to
the Assises Nationale de la Sobriété Foncière.
Once again this year, around a hundred students from three prestigious schools – ESGT, ESTP and INSA Strasbourg Topo – competed in the eXpert GAME final.
For this 4th edition, a new format was introduced. Gone are the two consecutive rounds, replaced by a single, longer practical round, giving students the time they need to develop their projects in greater depth.
Prior to this test, students had already been able to score points in a digital test, which accounts for 40% of the final mark.
2024 is the year of the Assises Nationales de la Sobriété Foncière. The main venue for the event, which will be held in 4 locations, is Fort-de-France in Martinique.
To mark the occasion, a special nod has been given to the eXpert Game. The subject of the case study was to redevelop and transform a former powder magazine in Saint-Pierre.
Divided into 16 teams, the students had the opportunity to express their creativity in transforming this urban wasteland steeped in history.
Objectives:
INSA Strasbourg on top again
After thorough deliberations,INSA Strasbourg retained its title of champion, closely followed by ESGT in second place and ESTP in third place, thus reproducing the same ranking as in the previous edition.
The jury was unanimous in its opinion that the team representing INSA had fully met the competition’s expectations. Their proposals were praised for their creativity and modernity, placing the expert-surveyor at the heart of the project and proposing concrete actions as a result.
ESGT and ESTP will have to redouble their efforts to win this trophy in the next competition.
