32TH JURIS’CUP
The 32th edition of the JURIS’CUP was held in Marseille from 14 to 17 September 2023. More than a hundred boats took part, including 2 boats racing with the Ordre des Géomètres-
Experts and ESGT students.

TERIA, a loyal sponsor of the event, was delighted to meet up with the Géomètres-Experts and ESGT students for this exceptional regatta.
3 days of sailing in the company of our experienced sailors and beginners in a friendly sporting atmosphere !
The 2 boats competed in the JOD 25 category against 3 other competitors.
Summary of the three days:
- Day 1: A beautiful sunny and windy day, during which the students and their skippers Daniel and Philippe put in a fine performance to finish second in the rankings, closely followed by the Géomètres-Experts and their skippers Stéphanie and Raphaël in third place.
- Day 2: The wind wasn’t up to scratch, and the wait was long, with the added bonus of a huge downpour that deterred some boats, who preferred to return to the harbour. Not so for our pugnacious crews! The surveyors got off to a very good start, while the students fell behind due to a broken sail. The provisional result of this second race: the surveyors took second place, while the students dropped to fourth.
- Last day: It’s not over yet. Our two crews were on their toes! The surveyors managed to overtake the Université de Toulon boat, which had been leading the race until then, before being overtaken again.
As for the students, they managed to catch up, earning their place on the podium.
A beautiful interlude
This year, TERIA renewed its sponsorship with sailing athlete Aude COMPAN and her new team-mate Mathilde LOVADINA, who are preparing for selection for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games in the 49er FX category.
We had the pleasure of meeting them in Marseille for a training session, an opportunity for a photo shoot on the water and a pleasant interlude in the company of the skippers and ESGT students.
We are delighted to support these two young athletes competing under the TERIA colours and hope to see them again at the 2024 Olympics.
Two places on the podium
At the end of the 3-day regatta, the Géomètres-Experts finished 2nd in the rankings, followed by the ESGT students in 3rd place. Congratulations on two fine performances!
On behalf of the whole team, a big thank you to everyone for this magnificent regatta. Thanks to Dany and Philou, our great skippers, thanks to Stéphanie and Raphaël for their warm welcome and, of course, thanks to the whole TERIA team and the surveyors for letting us join in this unforgettable experience. We’ll have so many wonderful memories!
